Frequently asked questions
Do you charge for an estimate / to come out?
Estimates are free — we look at your system and give you the exact price before any cleaning is done.
How much to clean my ducts?
It depends on the size of your home and how many vents there are, so the technician gives you the exact price up front — and the estimate is free.
How soon can you come?
We can usually get you scheduled soon, often within a few days, and sooner for a dryer vent that's a safety concern.
How often should ducts be cleaned?
It varies by home — it can be worth it after a remodel, a new-home move-in, pet or allergy issues, or if you're seeing dust; the technician can advise once he sees your system.
Does duct cleaning help with dust or allergies?
Many customers notice less dust and fresher air after a cleaning — the technician will check your system and go over what will help most in your home.
Do you clean dryer vents?
Yes — and if your clothes are taking long to dry or the dryer's running hot, that's worth doing soon since lint buildup is a fire risk. Let's get it scheduled.
Do you handle mold in the ducts?
The technician will inspect for that and, if there's growth, go over proper cleaning and treatment options with the exact price — no guessing over the phone.
Do you sanitize or deodorize the ducts?
We offer sanitizing when it's actually helpful for odor or growth — the technician will let you know if it makes sense for your system rather than just adding it on.
Do you do commercial buildings?
Yes, we clean commercial and larger building systems as well as homes — we'll size up the job and give you the exact price.
Do you also seal or repair ducts?
Yes, we handle duct sealing and repairs too — the technician can inspect for leaks and go over your options on site.
What's your process / do you use a truck-mounted vacuum?
We use powerful vacuum and agitation equipment to actually pull the debris out of the ducts, not just spray them — the technician will walk you through it when he's there.
Do you service my area?
We're local and cover your area — I'll grab your address and get you on the schedule.
Do you offer any guarantee?
We stand behind our work — the technician will go over our satisfaction guarantee when he's out.
Do you take card / offer payment options?
Yes, we take common payment methods — let me have the office confirm the current options and go over them with you.
⚠️ Safety first
- Burning or hot-lint smell from the dryer: Please stop using the dryer for now and unplug it or switch off its breaker — a clogged vent can be a fire risk. Leave it off and we'll get a technician out to clear it as a priority.
- Dryer or laundry area very hot, clothes not drying: Let's treat that as a priority — go easy on running the dryer until we clear the vent, since heat buildup like that can be a fire hazard, and I'll get a technician scheduled quickly.
- Visible smoke or scorching near the vent: If you see smoke or scorching, please turn the dryer off at the breaker right now and, if there's any active flame or heavy smoke, call 911. Once it's safe, we'll get a technician out to you.
- Caller reports possible carbon monoxide symptoms with a fuel appliance: If anyone feels dizzy, nauseous, or has a headache and you have a gas appliance, please get everyone outside to fresh air and call 911 or your gas company — safety first, and we can look at the venting after.
Know the terms
- Supply and return vents
- Supplies push conditioned air into rooms; returns pull air back to the system to be filtered and re-conditioned.
- Negative-air / HEPA vacuum
- The powerful collection unit that pulls loosened debris out of the ducts instead of letting it blow into the home.
- Source removal
- The proper method — physically brushing and vacuuming debris out, not just spraying chemicals.
- Antimicrobial / sanitizing
- An optional EPA-registered treatment applied only when there's an actual growth or odor concern.
- Dryer vent
- The duct that carries hot, moist air and lint from the dryer outside; lint buildup is a fire hazard.
