Do you deliver?

- Home is left unsecured after a break-in or storm damage: Let's treat that as urgent — I'll flag it so we can help get you a secure door fast. In the meantime, if you feel unsafe at all, please reach out to the police, and don't stay somewhere you're worried about.
- Customer plans to lift or move a heavy exterior or glass door alone: Please get a second set of hands for that — exterior and glass doors are heavy and awkward, and easy to get hurt on or damage. We handle delivery, so let us take care of the heavy lifting.
- Broken glass in a door the customer is handling: Please be careful with the broken glass and keep kids and pets clear — don't try to pull large pieces out. If anyone got cut, take care of that first and call 911 if it's serious.

- Rough opening
- The framed opening in the wall the door has to fit into; the measurement everything is based on.
- Prehung vs slab
- Prehung comes in a frame ready to install; a slab is just the door itself.
- Handing / swing
- Which way the door is hinged and swings — left or right, in or out — so it fits the opening.
- Jamb width
- How deep the door frame is, matched to the thickness of your wall.
- Special order
- A door made to your specs by the manufacturer, with a lead time of days to weeks.
- In-stock size
- A standard-size door available right away without a special order.
