Frequently asked questions
Someone is locked in a hot car — help!
Please call 911 right now — they can get there fastest and it's an emergency in the heat. Stay with the car, and we'll still send a locksmith, but call 911 first.
How fast can you get here / emergency?
We offer fast same-day and emergency service and can usually get a locksmith to you quickly — I'll get your location and send someone right away. Are you somewhere safe?
I'm locked out of my house
No worries, we'll get you back in — the locksmith opens it without damage whenever possible. Are you somewhere safe right now while I send someone?
I'm locked out of my car
We'll get you into your car — just first, is anyone or any pet inside? If so we'll call 911 too. Otherwise I'll send a locksmith to you right away.
Do you charge for coming out / an estimate?
The estimate is free and the locksmith tells you the exact total up front before any work — no surprises. We're always straight with you on the price first.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the lock or key and the service, so the locksmith confirms the exact price up front before starting. You'll always know the total first.
Can you make a car key / program a fob?
Yes — we cut and program car keys and fobs, usually for a lot less than the dealer. We'll need your car's year, make, and model and proof it's yours.
Can you rekey my locks / I lost my keys?
Absolutely — rekeying makes your old keys stop working and is quick and affordable, perfect after losing keys or moving in. The locksmith gives you the exact price first.
My key won't turn / broke in the lock
We can help with that — the locksmith will get the key out or the lock working again without forcing it. We won't guess the cause over the phone.
I just moved in — should I change the locks?
That's a smart move — rekeying or replacing the locks means no one else has a working key. The locksmith can do all your doors and give you a free estimate.
Do you install smart or keypad locks?
Yes — we install and set up smart and keypad locks so you can use a code or your phone. The locksmith will make sure it fits your door and works right.
Can you open or install a safe?
We do — opening a locked-out safe and installing new ones. The locksmith will confirm it's yours and give you the exact price before opening it.
Do you do commercial / business locks?
Yes — commercial locks, master key systems, and rekeying after staff changes. Tell me about your business and we'll set it up.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — we're licensed and insured, and we verify ownership before opening any home, car, or safe, which keeps everyone safe.
Do you service my area?
We're local and cover your area — I'll grab your location and get a locksmith headed your way.
