Frequently asked questions
Do you charge for an estimate?
Estimates are completely free — the installer comes out, measures, and gives you the exact price before any work.
How much to hang / install wallpaper?
It really depends on the wall size, the paper, and the prep, so the installer measures on site and gives you the exact price up front — and the estimate is free.
How much to remove old wallpaper?
Removal cost depends on how it was hung and how many layers there are, so the installer takes a look and gives you an exact price — we won't guess sight unseen.
Do you help me figure out how much paper to order?
Yes — the installer will measure and tell you exactly how much to order, including a bit extra for matching the pattern, so you're not short or over.
My wallpaper is peeling / bubbling at the seams
We can fix that — the installer will look at it and get it laid back down smooth, and give you the price before any work.
Do you install murals?
Yes, we install murals — those come in panels that have to line up just right, and that precision is exactly what we do.
Do you do grasscloth or specialty paper?
Yes — grasscloth and specialty papers take an experienced hand to hang cleanly, and we're glad to do them.
Do you do peel-and-stick?
Yes, we install peel-and-stick wallpaper — even that goes on best over clean, prepped walls, and we'll take care of that.
Can you provide the wallpaper, or do I buy it?
Many customers choose and order their own paper, and we can guide you on selection and quantity — just let us know and we'll point you the right way.
Do you do commercial jobs?
Yes, we do commercial wallcovering for offices, hospitality, and more, as well as homes.
Do you prep or fix the walls first?
Yes — good prep and priming is what makes wallpaper look great and last, so it's a standard part of what we do.
How long will it take?
A single accent wall is often just a few hours, and a full room or mural can be a day or more — the installer will give you a clear timeline with your price.
What's your warranty?
We stand behind our workmanship — the installer will go over exactly what's covered when he gives you the estimate.
Do you offer financing?
That's a good question — let me have the office confirm the current payment options and we'll go over them with you.
Do you service my area?
We're local and cover your area — I'll grab your details and set up a free estimate.
⚠️ Safety first
- Removing wallpaper in a home built before 1978 (lead paint): Good to mention — in older homes the walls underneath can have lead paint, so our installer handles removal the proper, safe way; please don't dry-sand or scrape it yourself in the meantime.
- Water or a leak behind bubbling paper: Thanks for flagging that — if you think there's water behind it, keep the area dry and ventilated and have any leak looked at, and our installer will check the wall before re-papering.
- High walls, stairwells, or scaffolding needed: No problem — for high walls and stairwells our installer brings the right ladders and equipment to do it safely, so there's no need to attempt those spots yourself.
Know the terms
- Pattern repeat
- How often the design repeats; a larger repeat needs more paper to match across seams.
- Sizing / primer
- The prep coat on the wall that helps paper stick well and come off cleanly later.
- Grasscloth
- A natural-fiber wallcovering that's beautiful but delicate and needs an experienced hand.
- Non-woven / paste-the-wall
- A modern paper where paste goes on the wall; easier to hang and remove.
- Dye lot / batch
- The run a roll was printed in; all rolls should match to avoid color shifts.
- Mural panels
- A large image split into panels that must be hung in the correct order.
