⚠️ Safety first
- Caller (or someone digging) struck a buried gas or electric line: Please stop right away, get everyone clear of the area, and call 911 and the utility from a safe distance — don't touch the line or the equipment. We'll help with the well once it's safe.
- Open or uncovered well / missing well cap: Please keep children and pets well away from it and cover it if you safely can — an open well is a serious fall hazard. Our technician will secure it properly.
- Failed water test, or visibly contaminated / smelly water: Until it's checked, please don't drink or cook with that water — use bottled for now to be safe. We'll get someone out to test it and get it cleared up.
- No water in extreme heat or with medical/livestock needs: Okay, let's treat this as urgent — I'll get a technician headed your way as fast as we can, and in the meantime keep any bottled or stored water for drinking.
