Common problems we handle

Frequently asked questions

Do you charge for an inspection / estimate?
Estimates are free — a technician inspects the property, finds how the animal's getting in, and gives you the exact price before any work is done.
How soon can you come out?
We can usually come out quickly, and for an animal loose in your living space or a bat in the house we'll treat it as urgent and get someone there fast.
How much does it cost to remove an animal?
It depends on the animal, how many, the openings to seal, and any cleanup, so the technician inspects it and gives you the exact price up front — and the inspection is free.
I hear scratching in my attic or walls
That's a very common call — the technician will find what's up there and how it's getting in, remove it humanely, and seal things up. Let's get someone out to take a look.
There's a bat in my house
Please try to close off that room and don't handle it bare-handed — if anyone was sleeping in there, call your doctor, since a bat in the room can be a rabies concern. We'll come remove it safely.
There's a snake in my house or yard
Please keep everyone at a safe distance and don't try to catch it. If anyone's been bitten, call 911 or Poison Control right away — otherwise we'll get a technician out to remove it.
There's a skunk / raccoon / opossum around
We handle those — please keep pets and kids away from it, and the technician will remove it humanely and seal up wherever it's getting in or denning.
Do you do humane / no-kill removal?
Yes, we remove animals humanely using traps and one-way doors rather than poison, and we handle any young so nothing's left behind.
Something died and it smells
We do dead-animal removal — the technician will locate it, remove it, and treat the odor, then check how it got in so it doesn't happen again.
Can you seal up entry points so they don't come back?
Absolutely — sealing every entry point is the most important part, and we back the exclusion so the animals stay out. The technician will find and seal them all.
Do you clean up the attic / droppings afterward?
Yes, we clean and decontaminate the attic and can replace soiled insulation — the technician will go over what's needed after the animals are out.
Do you get animals out of the chimney?
Yes — please keep the fireplace damper closed so it can't get into the room, and we'll get a technician out to remove it and cap the chimney so it stays out.
Do you handle rodents / mice / rats?
Yes, we handle rodents too — removal plus sealing the openings they use, which is the key to actually keeping them out.
Do you do commercial properties?
Yes, we handle commercial and residential properties — homes and businesses both.
Do you guarantee they won't come back?
We stand behind our exclusion work — the technician will go over the exact warranty on the sealing when he's there.
Do you service my area?
We're local and cover your area — I'll grab your address and get a technician headed your way.

Exclusion
Sealing every entry point with durable materials so animals can't get back in — the heart of a lasting fix.
One-way door
A device that lets an animal leave but not return, used to get them out humanely.
Entry point
The gap or opening an animal uses to get in — roof edges, vents, soffits, chimneys, and foundation gaps.
Decontamination
Cleaning and sanitizing droppings, urine, and nesting, and often replacing soiled insulation.
Maternity season
